What is Basetao?
Basetao is a shopping and forwarding agent. With its buying service, you choose a seller listing and the agent places the purchase, receives the seller's delivery at a warehouse and lets you check the received item before arranging international shipping. The seller supplies the product; the agent handles the buying and forwarding steps you request.
Its published service material distinguishes Buy for me from Ship for me. Forwarding applies when you arranged the purchase yourself. Neither this guide nor a catalogue photograph confirms that an item will be accepted: check the current service instructions before paying.
Buy for me or Ship for me?
Basetao’s archived homepage separates “Buy for me” from “Ship for me”. Use the buying path when you want the agent to purchase a seller listing. Forwarding is a different task: you have already arranged the purchase and need the warehouse address and parcel-registration instructions.
For a first purchase, start with the buying path. Open Basetao’s official site and use its current instructions. Current fees and account availability were not confirmed in this review.

- Compare the imported colour, size and quantity with the seller listing. If an option is missing, ask before submitting.
- Add a measurable request: “Please check the chest width laid flat” is more useful than “make sure it fits”.
- Review the item charge, domestic delivery and any payment or service charges. Keep the order number and receipt.
The first payment normally concerns buying the goods. International shipping is a later decision after the warehouse has the items. Use the cost worksheet to keep both stages in the budget.
After warehouse receipt, review the photos and request missing views or a correction before dispatch. Select accepted items for a parcel, compare the packed route quote and confirm your address. Pay the international shipping charge, then keep the parcel number and tracking record through delivery. Review QC before choosing shipping.

After you have paid
Follow the order status until the seller dispatches and the warehouse records receipt. If the seller has not shipped, ask about that order with its order number. Once warehouse photos appear, move to QC review rather than choosing international shipping immediately.
