Budget for the goods and the parcel
Enter your own quoted amounts. These worksheets compare the numbers you provide; they do not fetch shipping prices.
How to use the cost and parcel tools
The cost worksheet adds six known charges. Use a single currency and fill every field; enter zero only for a charge confirmed absent. An unknown shipping quote means the order budget is not yet complete.
The parcel comparison takes three complete totals: one combined parcel and two split parcels. Enter quotes for the same goods and destination, then compare. For the receipt-rate calculator, enter the amount debited in your currency and the CNY credited; the result is CNY per unit debited. None of these worksheets retrieves live rates or carrier prices.
Compare parcel quotes, add known charges, or calculate a receipt rate.
Fee breakdown: the purchase and the parcel
Write down the item subtotal, domestic delivery, payment or service fees, international shipping, packing and any other known charge. Use one currency throughout. If a charge is unknown, the budget is incomplete.
For example, two shipping quotes are comparable only if they cover the same contents, destination, packing and optional services. A split parcel may repeat a minimum charge even when its individual weight is lower.
- The first purchase bill covers the goods and seller-to-warehouse delivery, plus the buying and payment charges shown by the service.
- The parcel bill comes after warehouse checks: international freight, selected packing and optional services. Compare a quote for the actual contents and packed size.
- Possible import taxes or clearance charges depend on the destination and route. Check whether they are included in the quote or payable separately; do not count an unknown charge as zero.
Compare combine and split totals
Enter a complete combined quote and the two complete split quotes below. A lower total is useful only if both options accept your contents and provide the service you need.
Currency and the exchange rate on your receipt
Divide the CNY credited by the amount actually debited in your own currency. This effective rate includes whatever was reflected in that receipt; compare separately charged fees as well. Do not compare a payment receipt with a market rate without accounting for the difference.
Before choosing the cheaper result
Resolve QC issues first. Then check size limits, accepted contents, tracking and claim terms for the route. Compare the shipping options with the same parcel details.
